Social Windfarms - WindESCo and NREL collaborate to make turbines social
BOSTON, MA - February 11, 2019
John joined the WindESCo team as an addition to the Software Engineering department.
John completed his bachelors degree in computer science at the Harvard Extension School. He later went on to be a full stack developer intern in Cambridge, MA. John has been living in Munich, Germany since 2020 working as a junior software engineer. He will relocate to Massachusetts soon for his new position with WindESCo. John has expertise in building cloud applications in Python and automated testing, which will help scale WindESCo systems and keep them reliable.
Outside of work, John enjoys the outdoors. Whether it's walking in the city, biking or camping, he loves it all. Giving up the Bavarian Alps for the Blue Hills will probably be a tough trade 😆. He also loves cooking, trying new recipes and hosting dinner parties with his friends. His favorite food to make has become burritos, as it is impossible to find good tacos and burritos in the Munich/Frankfurt area.
We look forward to working with John and having him on the team!
